"As Big as a Pumpkin Patch!"

Kids say the funniest things! I love to hear what they come up with. Today at school I was teaching my preschoolers how to spell ORANGE and we were talking about things that are orange. One little girl proudly said, "Pumpkins! and Mrs. Kristen's belly is as BIG as a Pumpkin Patch!" Not only did I bust out laughing, but all the children got a kick out of her observation!



Well, I may be as big as a pumpkin patch, but Baby Jones is as comfortable as can be in its current home! I went to the doctor today and everything is looking good, the heart rate was 135 but so far we haven't made any progress!! I still have time before I get too impatient. I want baby to stay in there as long as he/she needs to. Within reason....

On a completely different note, I wanted to share a recent picture of sweet little Harvey. He was resting after spending a fun day with his Dad:)
Speaking of Wood, please keep him in your prayers because he goes in tomorrow morning to have a scope done and then we will know what is wrong with him and hopefully he will be able to eat again soon. I am going to make him something very YUMMY! This will be a nice change from smoothies and milkshakes. Any suggestions or recipes for a first meal??

Girls Night Baby Shower

Have I told you about my sweet and wonderful college friends? Although we don't live nearby each other and don't talk everyday, I know that we are always there for each other. They are so great! These girls are great examples of true friends and you can always pick right back up where you left off. I am very grateful for them!

These girls have been so good about getting together about once a month for a Girl's Night Out. This is just a time to get together, hang out and catch up. I don't always make it because the drive can get kinda long, especially being pregnant! I was just saying today that I feel like I have been pregnant forever!

Ok...believe it or not Megan and I are due within a week of each other! I know....I'm SO huge! It's funny, how differently we are carrying our babies.

The other lovely pregnant lady, Kay! She is so much fun and I am so thankful for my friendship with her. I love our times together. I think she is showing us the breast milk...just kidding! It isn't really, but Tommye wanted us to think it was.

If you know Nicole, you know that she is without a doubt "The Hostess with the Mostess!" She is so sweet and loves to entertain. I think in college, she called herself the Queen of Entertainment (HA!) and she absolutely is! She makes everyone feel at home and loved and she has such a heart of service and hospitality!

I didn't get a picture with all the girls, but here is Megan, Jessica, me, Jaime and Natalie. I think Stephanie, Kay and Tommye were chatting it up with my sweet Mom who drove me to Birmingham! I just didn't feel like driving by myself:)
