"A-Day" and other Saturday happenings!

I love Saturdays.  What a great day to spend lovin' on my two fellas. We actually started the weekend yesterday with a trip to Birmingham for two...yes two job meetings for the hubby!  He's been having a lot more lately.  I know somebody is going to snatch him up soon!  Well, I should say I know the job he wants is going to come along soon. How could it not?!  He's the total package.  Super smart, hardworking, cute, mans man....yes, he's great. He actually rescheduled one appointment for next week because of the tornadoes coming through Alabama.

We also had Foster's 6 month photo shoot with my friend, Jessica.  You really should go check out her website.  Heck, you really should book her to shoot your wedding, family, kids, whatever.

Go ahead...Check her out.

I'll wait.

See...wasn't that fun?

We had a great time getting his photos done.  I CAN'T WAIT to see them!  Can you tell I'm excited?  I love pictures of my sweet little guy.  I will share them with you as soon as I get them!

After the photo shoot, I started to get a little bit nervous our car was going to get blown away by a tornado while we were driving back home.  Our friends Kay and Michael let us hunker down with them until the coast was clear.  While we waited out the storm, Foster and John Michael did a little side by side tummy time action.  Fun play date, huh? I didn't get any pictures though.

I spent most of this morning trying to catch up on laundry before my family is buried in clothes, but that got boring quick so I suggested we drive over to the campus, walk around, and show Foster the A-Day festivities.  Sounds better than laundry for sure.
My two favorite fellas!
As we were walking around, we saw the buses getting ready to load the football players.
"Oh Wow, I get to see the football players!"
We were watching the players get on the bus and Wood was giving us a play-by-play of who everybody was.  This is a "really big dude."
I knew this one, Trent Richardson.  The next Heisman winner?  hmmm....
 "Woo Hoo!"

I also went to the mall to find some sales and came across these.  I wasn't so sure about the shininess  and they weren't quite the nude I wanted, but I think they will work and be my Easter shoes.

More importantly, I've been contemplating more the love of our Savior and the incredible sacrifice He made for us.  I love Easter and the celebration of a Risen King!  I love it that Jesus died so I can live!  I just love it!  A relationship with Him is incredible and gives me purpose and perspective in life.
I'm planning some activities to do with my preschoolers this week in honor of Easter.  I'll share with you how it goes!
