Last Thursday we headed to Pennsylvania for the weekend to celebrate in my cousin's wedding festivities. Foster was such a trooper for the drive and the flight! He couldn't have done much better in the airplane. We had an early flight so we were headed out of town by 4:30. It takes some time to get to the big city of Birmingham:)

Well, there was a time he tried to climb over the seat to play with the people behind us. He was loving all those new "friends"!
He was showing out for the flight attendant, so she said she had to hold him. She said her "womb was aching!" oh my word!
And then finally he crashed!
Thank goodness my Mom was with me to get Foster to sleep; she was able to do it every time! She would sing Jesus Loves Me right into his ear and he would be out! There is even peace in that truth for little babies.
Everyone was so excited to see Foster. My uncle gave Foster a Phillies hat when we got there.
He is going to be so cute wearing it with his little Chipper Jones Braves jersey.
The rehearsal dinner was at my aunt and uncle's home and everything was great. I get my creative party gene from Aunt Gail. The food was really good and some of the recipes will be at Foster's birthday party next weekend.
That is if I can get everything finished in time! Wish me luck.

I traveled once...ONCE...on a plane with my 3 yr old, 14 mo. old and I was 32 wks. pregnant. (Yes, hub was with me!) It was not easy. Can you imagine not having your Mom with you? I know Foster is only one child, but I know that was a challenge.

Foster is so stinkin cute!!! So glad he finally went to sleep for you on the plane :) Glad ya'll were able to get out of town for bit!
