Hey friends! I missed y'all while I was gone! No, I didn't go somewhere fun. Life just got busy and I kinda got in a funk while being pulled in a hundred different directions, but it wasn't anything a bag of chips and dip couldn't help while I watched HGTV. That is totally out of character for me, but I'm better now. Not the HGTV watching- the chip eating.
Anyhoo, thankfully God's mercies are new every morning! I just love how God's faithfulness and His love for us just makes me want to love Him more every day AND stop being a grouch when I feel stressed.
Once again, I digress...
Do you remember here when I said I wanted to buy a bike? Well, I did it. I bought it off this lady on the side of the road. It was totally random. I was driving to run some errands one day and I saw her there, having a yard sale. I stopped, checked it out, and bought it. Then the errands continued.
There was talk around town that I must have been in a fender bender, because people saw me on the side of the road. Oh, the joys of small town living...
It's a red Raleigh cruiser- kinda like this one:
Now I'm just waiting to get this seat in the mail and this Nutcase Little Nutty helmet for Foster.

Glad you're back!! I totally understand about those "funks", as I've also been in one these past several of days. Just lots going on this time of the semester. I finally caved today and bought a big bag of powdered-sugar donuts. Totally NOT what I need, but unfortunately, it will probably do the trick. : )

Haaaaaaaaa! I'm cracking up about the gossip around town. Around here, if you're stopped in the side of the road:
1. No one cares
2. They ignore you
3. If they do notice, they look around for cops, because you must have been speeding
If I'm ever on the side of the road...it's usually b/c someone had to use the potty. Yes. We have a potty. I love Suburbans. :)
The bike issue...well...let's just say Justin and I bought reeeeeeeally nice bikes when we were engaged...and since baby #1 happened pretty soon, then #2 and lookey there! #3...we haven't used them probably ever. In 12 years.
I'm pretty sure they are junk by now.
Great investment. Yes?
Here's to you getting your $15 worth...or whatever the bargain price was. Haha! ;)
