I have noticed such a difference in Foster these last couple weeks. He is turning into such a big boy! I haven't stayed on top of his monthly post after his first birthday like I should have,
but he is 14 months old now!
Sunday morning before church I was trying to get a picture of him, but he was enthralled with whatever was on Noggin and this is the best I could get.
The teeth are really starting to come in now! The molars are coming in and three other teeth as well. I wonder if that is why he has been so fussy!?
I was telling him we are going to give his toys to children that need toys and will actually play with them;) He totally ignores most of his toys and he goes straight for the tupperware, pots and pans!
One moment he is the sweetest, most cuddly little boy and the next he looks like this....
If we utter the word "No" or take away something he can't have, a total meltdown ensues. I have been at a total loss for what to do a lot of times, but I'm staying consistent with discipline. I think when he is able to talk and communicate with us, things will be much better. I know it must be frustrating to not be able to speak.
I bought some cute Christmas decorations today for a small tree I want to finish putting up for Foster. And he wanted to carry this HUGE styrofoam lollipop in Wal-Mart and when I wouldn't let him it was total meltdown mode! I was so embarrassed! I walked around Wal-Mart wanting to hide because he was acting like that. I remember before I had a child, thinking why can't she do something with the kid? Now, I understand a little better. He does get disciplined though and I have to be very consistent.
I have no idea where he got such a strong will?? Ha! (Said with sarcasm;-)

Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, huh? You're not alone. It's quite common. Except for some reason, my children were PERFECT. (Talk about sarcasm.) ;) I love the pic with the container on his head. Haha.
You have to see my post about Sasha. What a weekend...and week ahead. :(
That last picture is cracking me up! I miss that sweet boy! :)
kristen, i am so sorry about the meltdowns. i am sure that is rough, especially when you are out in public. he just looks adorable as usual.
i love the fact that you grabbed a camera during a meltdown... i totally do the same thing! tough when as adorable as they are temper tantrums come. i remember walking through the walmarts :-) with a crying child, ignoring them because we were out of so many things. it was impossible to leave and come back at another time. plus i did not want them to think that they could cry and i would leave some place. this too shall pass, i promise!
