Christmas Day Festivities

Merry Christmas, everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season surrounded by the people that you love.
This year is Foster's second Christmas and although he isn't quite old enough to understand what is going on, he definitely loves all the excitement.

I actually didn't get Foster anything for Christmas this year, because he has no idea and I knew he would be given so much from family.  I was right; he racked up on toys! I have already been packing things up to give away.  He loves all of his new toys and got plenty of things he can grow into.

All morning Foster was kissing the baby Jesus in his nativity.  It was the sweetest sight!  I would just sit and watch him as he would pick up and kiss Jesus and the wise men over and over again.

During morning breakfast- Giving Uncle Jimmy "Knucks."  It's his new thing to do these days.

After breakfast, Foster took a quick nap and then we headed out to W's aunt and uncle's house for lunch. It's always nice to get together with them and Foster loves playing with his cousins!!

I can't believe he was big enough to sit at the kid's table this year.  He was  a little unsteady in the chair, but he just watched Rives and Jack and did what they were doing.  He was having too much fun to eat a bite, so they just got up and played.

Rives was filling Foster in on the day's activities.  He listens intently to his big cousin.
About 2 minutes after this picture was taken, Foster flipped back into the fire place screen. Ha!

Jack kept saying, "Come here Foster.  Want me to hold you?"  And Foster would try to climb up into his lap!

Most of the day was spent running after this little wild man.  He makes everything so much more busy!;)

Before we got there, the older kids were sliding down the stairs on an air mattress.  It was still out so Jack and Rives made a trampoline out of it.  I took a video of them playing and the sound of their laughing is so funny to us.

Opening gifts...

I realized Wood was missing and I found him and Rhett checking out the new 3D tv.  They look like they are enjoying themselves, huh?

After all this, we still weren't finished!  We packed up the car and headed to my side of the family's Christmas that was just down the road- thankfully!

We didn't have to eat again, thank goodness!  So we just talked home improvements (hint, hint to my very exciting impending announcement, thank you Jesus!)

My cute little Mom is the best at keeping Foster happy and entertained!  She takes her job as Mimi very seriously and we love it.

Happy Birthday, Jesus!  Thank you God for the gift of your precious Son.  Life is so much better with the incredible gift!

We are glad to be finally winding down on the excitement, but it's not over yet...
Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm hoping the hubs and I do something fun!

Could anything be cuter than Foster CRACKING UP??? That video was hilarious!!! I was kind of afraid he was going to flip off the air mattress!
